The signage world in Los Angeles has evolved a lot over the last 5 to 10 years, and I've been right in the middle of it. LED tech has gotten way better: more efficient, brighter, longer-lasting. That's huge for modern signs. But I still love bringing back classics like real neon (glass tubing) and updating them for today. It's like listening to vinyl in a streaming world: reliable, high-quality, with that authentic feel you can't fake. A lot of trendy stuff, like those neon-look LED ropes from overseas, pops up indoors, but for me, it's about in-house manufacturing here in LA. Building community with other sign makers, doing it right, not just quick and cheap.

One question I get a lot is: LA has tons of sign companies. What makes I M Creations different? For me, it comes down to one thing: I don't cut corners on quality, no matter the project size. Whether it's a big corporate client or a small mom-and-pop shop, I treat every job the same. I bring top-notch quality assurance every time. I could chase cheaper options, but that's not me. I'd rather the end product exceed what the client pictured, something tangible they can point to and say, "Whoa, that's better than I expected." That's rewarding. When the client is genuinely happy, and we're both proud of it, that's what keeps this business feeling right.

Hey, I'm Isaac, the guy behind I M Creations here in Los Angeles. People always ask how I got into custom signage and why I decided to build this business right here in LA. So here is a bit about me and my story. I was born and raised in LA. When I was five, my family moved to Mexico for a little while. That's where my dad started a screen printing company, making T-shirts and all that. Even at five or six years old, I was in the shop, helping out, watching the process, getting my hands dirty. We came back to LA when I was seven, and I continued growing up around the world of turning designs into real, tangible things.

Fast forward, for college I went to FIDM to study graphic design. That's when I really started leaning toward signs. I loved the design side, but what excited me more was the manufacturing, the actual making of it. Seeing something go from a screen to something you can touch, see lit up, stand out on a building... that's what gets me up every morning. In 2014, I dove deeper into the sign world, and by 2016 I got my electrical sign contractor license and started my business. LA is the perfect place for this. This city is full of creative energy: artists, businesses, mom-and-pop shops, big brands. Everyone needs something that grabs attention, tells their story, and lasts.

What gets me out of bed in the morning is knowing I get to take a client's idea, whether it's from their graphic designer or straight from the owner, and bring it to life better than they imagined. On the computer, it looks good. In person, with the right materials, lighting, and craftsmanship, it looks incredible. That's the magic I am fortunate enough to chase every day. Here in LA, I'm bringing that same quality to everyone, from Silicon Valley tech folks to local spots in Van Nuys or North Hollywood. It's personal. It's family-rooted. And it's all about making something the client (and I) can be proud of. If you're in LA and have an idea brewing for your brand, hit me up and let’s bring it to life.
